Taco Samich in Tehachapi

Pretty authentic food, had street tacos tasty. Would recommend that anyone try it!

Its cool, got to try the rest of their menu, Their buche and tacos de cabesa are good.

Awesome barrito' and great service. Not once have I ever had an issue bigger than the self service hot sauce and hole pickeled jalapeno's. Once and only once they ran out of jalapeno's and had no more for the day. I think it's still five star quality for what it is which is a taco bar.

I usually get the Asada tacos and a side of rice. My husband gets the Taco salad with chicken. Both excellent choices. The rice is the best Mexican Rice in town!

Food and portions are excellent for the price. Best Chile Verde I've had in years and the Sopes are excellent as well. Charging for drink refills and more than 1 cup for the salsa bar seems a bit stingy however.

Always great service and the services is awesome. Love their burritos.

Wonderful everytime

This is my go to for burritos and salads. The basic rice and beans is the best in town. So I buy some to compliment my meals at home.

Not authentic tacos at all and it was not steak it was roast beef as the meat not 100% corn tortilla it had flower with it very nasty very disappointed over the reviews that we looked at before we chose this place people really do not know what authentic tacos car

Decent food at reasonable prices. The fish burrito was good but a bit dry. The beans were tasty and everything tasted like it was homemade.

Just wasn't good. Beam me up was closed took a chance. Won't do that again.

Good mexican food

Tried the fish taco and it was good.we tried beef burrito and taco. Both were good. Food was fresh and tasty. Prep time was quick and there are tables and booths. Sauces were good and fairly spicy, but not hot. We would be back, if we lived locally.

Best Mexican food in town. Good price and food made pretty quick. I ordered 7 burritos and it was only about 10 minutes and that was with some other people ordering. When I want good Mexican I go here.

The tacos are good, the carnitas, the lengua, the fish. The lunch specials are tasty. Everything is good but the asada, which I cannot recommend.

Their food is always great, especially carne asada burrito.

Been going since I was like 5 never gets old

Disappointing. We have driven by this place often and finally decided to stop in for lunch... we ordered a fish, Carnitas and carne asada taco with chips and salsa. We were limited to one small plastic cup of salsa for the tacos and the reason was, " if we give you to much the owner gets mad." The meat was not seasoned and very bland. The service was definitely not with a smile. I would highly recommend not going there. We will not return.

This place provides excellent service and delightful menu. One of my favourite places around town. The food and drinks served quick and the prices were fair. Recommended.

Taco Samich is the greatest place to eat on this Earth.I've been eating bean and cheese burritos from this place growing up and I'll always get them when I go back. Highly recommend.

Very friendly but Carne Asada was super dry and their langua was not prepared right, more like beef stew meet.

Best Mexican restaurant in Tehachapi not to expensive

I had chicken and was not satisfied, I could make chicken better at home. Tacos are not great either.

Visiting tehachapi this past weekend while attending a wedding. I had a craving for a quesadilla and headed over to del taco. Sadly DEL TACO was proudly displaying a "B" 🤮 that was given to them by the health department.Did a quick Google search, and discovered Taco Samich ( they proudly display an "A" 😀 ).Restaurant appeared clean, prices were reasonable, and although overcooked my quesadilla was tasty.There was a limitation on the amount of salsa that you are allowed to consume. One small side cup for a taco, 2 for a burrito. I'm not one to waste food including salsa, but I like a lot of salsa/hot sauce on my food. I found this kind of odd and the first time I've ever noticed it in a Mexican restaurant. I could have forked out another 50 cents for another small side cup, but chose to use the one that came with my order sparingly....

I ordered a beef torta today. The bun, lettuce, tomato, and beef were fresh! I asked for the 'hot' salsa and it was warm and fresh. Not super hot. I also had a large horchata. It was very refreshing! It was take out only. I highly recommend eating at Taco Samich!

Closest to homemade I have ever found. Eat here all the time. They don't accept AMEX.

Tacos and Burritos have no taste plus the meat is DRY AND HARD. Will never go back again. Not even for the 75 cent taco.

Good food employees not to freindly

This is a small and cozy down to earth Mexican restaurant. The food is prepared pretty fast. My favorite are the tacos de asada. It's a reasonable place. No costly prices.
